A Vancouver native, Stacey has been adjusting claims in British Columbia for 21 years, including 10 years as a staff adjuster/examiner for B.C.’s largest auto insurer. She brings a wealth of field experience in handling auto and property/casualty losses alike, and is known for an innate and consistent ability to gain the cooperation of individuals on all sides of an investigation.
Stacey is frequently retained for the purpose of conducting interviews where a degree of sensitivity and discretion is required, such as cases featuring high profile and media-sensitive claims.
With many years of experience in handling liability claims as a staff adjuster, Stacey has naturally developed a strong specialty in handling large litigated losses for catastrophic and brain injury exposures, as well as in-depth pre-trial investigation and witness preparation.

Angela Shears, CIP
We were so very pleased to welcome Angela to the organization in the spring of 2009, where she quickly developed our West Vancouver office location into a well-known regional resource.
A Chartered Insurance Professional bringing over 20 years of field and management experience in the claims industry, Angela began her career as an independent adjuster working with a regional firm, specializing in the investigation of large litigated auto exposures. Her years in this specialty prepared her for subsequent engagements including ownership of a regional adjusting firm and branch management with a large national independent adjusting firm in Vancouver.
In addition to these accomplishments, Angela has the distinct recent experience of being engaged as a member of a unique team of Canadian adjusters dispatched to assist with Catastrophic losses in Brisbane, Australia. Angela’s expertise was sought by Australian CAT Team leaders who were challenged with managing losses relating to the Brisbane Floods and Cyclone Yasi. Since her return, we have received the expressions of sincere gratitude from partners overseas, for Angela’s valued efforts in assisting these devastated regions.
Our professional compliment continues to benefit tremendously from Angela’s great and varied experience in managing claims in all lines of business, and her coverage of the North and West Vancouver territories regularly includes the Sunshine Coast, Howe Sound, and Squamish/Whistler regions.

Shelby L.M. Vevers, CIP
A veteran adjuster and former partner with a regional firm in the Fraser Valley, Shelby came to Cornerstone at the end of 2010 as the next step in her long and successful adjusting career in large-loss handling and fraud investigation.
Shelby’s coming on board has given our firm a much-increased profile among insurers both nationally and at the local level, where she currently manages our Fraser Valley Office.

Catherine Dussault
Catherine joined the Cornerstone family in May of 2007 as a junior adjuster under the supervision of Stacey Rose, and rapidly became a great asset to our Vancouver operation. She brings a wealth of business and investigative experience to the claims discipline, having held key positions in the field of commercial fraud investigation and major account management.
Catherine is blessed with an inherent ability to ‘see the big picture’, and to organize very complex threads of information into cohesive and useful bodies of evidence. Her highly-developed skill in the application of information technology and research make Catherine a top-quality investigator and researcher.
